Mission Statement: •To help at risk children to grow and develop to their full potential in nurturing families within a supportive community.

Empower & Educate

PB&J has been committed to families and children in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas for 50 years! Through our continued involvement in the community we have worked tirelessly to make sure that at-risk children grow and develop to their full potential in nurturing families with in a supportive community. We do this by providing family support services such as parent education, early childhood education, resources, and supportive community based programs.

 
 
 

Our Impact

PB&J Family Services was founded in 1972 and has been a staple of child welfare. For over 50 years we have served countless children and families. PB&J currently serves over 2,000 adults and children every year through our 9 programs and yearly community events.

 
 
 

Our Programs

PB&J has been offering programs in Central New Mexico for 50 years! Currently we offer both in home, community, and center based services. Our goal is to serve the whole family with a special emphasis on client centered care. All of our programs are free of cost to the family and we have no income restrictions.

  • Community Based Prevention, Intervention, and reunification Services (CBPIR)

  • Children’s Support Group

  • Family Infant Toddler Program (FIT)

  • Family outreach

  • Juvenile Community Corrections (JCC)

  • Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Parenting Program

  • New Mexico Home Visiting

  • New Mexico Pre-k extended day program

  • Parenting Program

Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved with PB&J Family Services and the work that we do. We have open enrollment for all programs, volunteer opportunities year-round, and we gladly accept generous donations to continue our work in the community.
